Tightening ties between the UAE and Africa
Astral Aviation, a cargo airline based in Nairobi (Kenya) with an extensive network in Afrika, and Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, successfully completed the inaugural flight to Abu Dhabi (UAE) on 21 March.
This flight followed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by the two carriers, which aims to expand Etihad Cargo's reach into the African market. After the success of the inaugural flight, Astral Aviation will resume weekly operations from Abu Dhabi starting 28 March.
