Tiaca honours sustainable projects
On 10 December 2020 Tiaca named the winners of the Tiaca air cargo sustainability awards 2020. Determined by a group of independent judges representing Tiaca’s sustainability strategic partnership members, the prizes were awarded to Pelican BioThermal and Nepal Flying Labs.
Pelican BioThermal was recognised in the corporate category for its durable and reusable temperature-controlled shipping containers CrēdoTM.
Nepal Flying Labs, on the other hand, received the award in the start-up category for its drone optimised therapy system, which transports medical equipment, among other, in hard to reach locations in Nepal.
The finalists presented their products at the digital Air Cargo Forum on 2 December 2020, but an in-person ceremony is planned as the next physical Tiaca event in 2021. (amh)
