Tiaca appoints board member
The International Air Cargo Association (Tiaca) has appointed Eng. Naif Ali Al Abri (Photo) as CEO of Transom, dedicated to delivering aviation related services in Oman.
With his ten years of industry experience in high-level operational roles in engineering and project management with Transom, Oman Air and Oman Power and Water Procurement Company, Al Abri will join a group of thirteen3 board members, representing airlines, airport operators, ground handlers, freight forwarders, IT solution providers and shippers.
Al Abri: "The challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic confirmed the vital role of the air cargo system in supplying and supporting healthcare systems, online retail and many other sectors." Tiaca continues calling for new members to join the board with currently four empty seats available. (amh)
