TIA picks interim CEO
Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), the voice of the third-party logistics industry, has named Douglas G. Clark as its interim CEO. Clark succeeds Robert A. Voltmann, CAE, who announced earlier this week that he was stepping down from his role in leading the association after nearly 23 years.
“I have worked alongside Clark for more than 15 years and I am more than confident that he is prepared and equipped to serve as interim CEO of the association,” said Brian Evans, TIA board chair and CEO of L&L Freight Services.
Clark currently serves as the chair of TIA’s legacy committee and previously held the positions of TIA services chair, executive committee member, education & programme committee chair and chairman of the TIA board of directors. (mw)
