Three roundtrips between Wolfurt and Frenkendorf
Swissterminal is adding a new rail link to Wolfurt (Austria) to its intermodal portfolio. With immediate effect, the company is operating three weekly roundtrips via the Frenkendorf hub in Switzerland.
The service connects customers in the Vorarlberg area and eastern Switzerland to the Swissterminal Group’s wider network and the networks of its partners DP World and ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) with sustainable transport options for maritime cargo in 20- and 40-foot containers.
From Frenkendorf, there are frequent connections to the sea ports in Rotterdam (Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium), Genoa and La Spezia (both in Italy) and Neuss (Germany). (ben)
