Three new vehicles in one go
In Switzerland, Kottwil-based transport company has invested in three new Man-TGS vehicles. They all have a D15 engine with 360 HP. Their guaranteed weight is 21,000 kg and the wheelbase is 5,100 mm.
The trucks are equipped with the manufacturer's transmission software and new gearshift systems, which reduce fuel consumption while increasing driving comfort at the same time.
Bättig Transporte operates 19 vehicles, 18 of which are Man trucks. Their payload varies from 5 t to 22 t. Two of the trucks are equipped with general cargo cranes with a 14 m outreach to lift the cargo precisely to its destination. (ben)
