Three new senior officers for ICS
The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, the professional body for the commercial shipping industry worldwide, officially welcomed the following fellows of the institute as its new senior officers at a controlling council meeting held in Athens, Greece.
Luis Bernat, (second from left) takes over from Glenn Murphy as international chair of the institute. He has held the position of vice chair since 2021. Most recently, was chartering manager at TSL Shipping & Trading.
Krishnan Subramaniam has been named vice chairman (left). He has over three decades of experience in logistics, supply chain and training roles in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Newly appointed vice president Punit Oza (right), based in Singapore, has over three decades of commercial and operational experience working with major maritime & trading companies. He founded Maritime NXT in 2023. (cj)
