Three new logistics parks by 2020

Panattoni Europe, an industrial and logistics property developer, is to build three new logistics parks in Germany by 2020, in response to demand for more space.

Construction work will start at Kaltenkirchen, near Hamburg, Schwanewede, north of Bremen, and Wörrstadt, near Frankfurt, later this year. Just under EUR 10 million will be invested in the three properties, which will offer between 18,500 and 40,000 sqm of space.

Fred-Markus Bohne, managing partner of Panattoni Europe, explained: "These three locations have great potential given the increasing lack of space. We have anticipated the need and are developing speculatively. We will put the new space at the three extraordinary locations on the market by 2020." (mw)
