Three lorries for Four

Volvo Trucks Italia and Four Sustainable Logistics have expanded their partnership with the delivery of three electric trucks. Four’s updated fleet now includes 40 electric vehicles, the company has reported.

The new additions include two Volvo FHE 4x2 tractors with 540 kWh battery capacities and one FEE 6x2 rigid truck equipped with refrigerated transport capabilities. Four is the first customer to adopt Volvo’s new ‘Bundle Volvo’ charging service, which includes a 43 kW charger and monitoring tools provided by Fleet220. The initiative is supported by Volvo’s rental business and reflects a shared commitment to accelerating low-emission transport.

Four plans to add five more electric trucks by the end of 2025. Four’s national network comprises 115 low-emission vehicles, ten warehouses and 21 ‘splitting points’, supporting sustainable urban and suburban logistics operations. (js)
