Three e-trucks for Vienna

Collaborating with DM Drogerie Markt, Quehenberger Logistics has debuted three new electric trucks as part of its fleet. This project, originally approved at the beginning of the year, sees Quehenberger using electric vehicles to supply DM’s shops in and around Vienna.

With their emissions-free transport and quiet engines, the trucks are ideal for city logistics. They will supply around 100, making Quehenberger’s transport logistics within Vienna CO2-neutral.

Furthermore, the companies are looking to remove diesel trucks from the Vienna fleet by 2025, while transports from the distribution hub at Enns are to be switched from diesel power to HVO.

2025 will see both Quehenberger and DM working towards doubling the e-fleet as well as enhancing charging infrastructure at the logistics provider’s sites. (mk)
