The Middle East’s first Boeing 737-800 BCF
Texel Air, an established airline and MRO based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched a 737-800 Boeing converted freighter (BCF), the very first for the region.
Recently arrived in the kingdom, Texel Air’s first Boeing 737-800BCF is ready to serve a diverse customer base across the Middle East, India, Turkey, East Africa and global markets. The 737-800BCF joins a fleet of three freighters (one 737-300F and two 737-700FC) at Texel Air’s home base at Bahrain International Airport.
Texel Air is a major player in the Middle East cargo charter airline business servicing the express and e-commerce markets.
Another 737-800BCF is on order and due to be delivered in September 2022, bringing the total fleet up to five freighters. (cj)
