The legacy of a "Queen of the Skies"


A7-BGB, Qatar Airways Cargo's last B747F, landed after completing its last flight in commercial cargo service for QR Cargo last Friday, 1 March, arriving from Barcelona (Spain).

 

The iconic freighter joined Qatar Airways Cargo's fleet on 26 September 2017. Over the past seven years, two units were deployed on over 9,000 flights with 66,000 block hours, together transporting nearly 800,000 t of cargo. Their number one destination was Incheon at 1,165 flights, surpassing Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Guangzhou, and others.
