The first of 170 in operation

Vehicle manufacturer MAN and EON want to jointly establish around 170 locations with 400 charging points in Europe along the existing MAN service network for the public charging of electric trucks. The first such station has now gone into operation in Berlin-Wildau. It will initially have two charging points specifically for trucks.

During the day, drivers can use the existing infrastructure of the workshop, such as the sanitary facilities and the recreation room, during their charging and driving breaks.

Shopping facilities and restaurants are within walking distance. In the coming weeks, a further four charging points will be connected to the network in Karlsfeld near Munich and two charging points in Fürstenwalde, Brandenburg. (ben)
