Textile sharing specialist banks on H2 transports

Mewa is preparing the first 4x2 hydrogen electric truck for use in the north of Germany, after the company already has two Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell in operation in Switzerland.

The truck was handed over to the specialist GK Grünenfelder for assembly last week. It is to be deployed in the greater Hamburg region.

The Xcient Fuel Cell vehicles have a range of around 400 km. They store the hydrogen in seven tanks, with an average refuelling time of ten minutes. The Xcient Fuel Cell produced for Mewa is the advanced generation of the first series of H2 trucks. (ben)
