Ten years in Vietnam
It’s a double ten. Gebüder Weiss has opened branches in ten different countries in East Asia to date, and it is also celebrating its tenth anniversary in Vietnam this year. The logistics provider runs two offices in the country, one in the economic hub Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and another in the capital Hanoi, 1,600 km further north.
Vietnam exported goods worth EUR 319 billion in 2021, up from EUR 84 billion in 2011. The country exports products from the electronics, mechanical engineering, aviation, chemical and food industries. Gebrüder Weiss delivers these goods for its customers mainly to Singapore, South Korea, Europe and USA. In 2021, the company increased its air and sea freight volumes by 30% compared to 2020. (sh)
