Teeing off a partnership
The French logistics provider Idea has launched its new service for the distribution of second-hand golf clubs in Europe after having signed a contract with Golfbidder at the end of 2023.
Golfbidder buys, reconditions, and resells golf clubs which once belonged to professionals or private individuals. Idea Group will take over the logistics behind these operations, leveraging its previous experience in industrial logistics and using its hub in Calais for the new partnership.
Idea’s responsibilities will encompass the reception of old equipment, after which it will inspect and recondition the items, before posting a photo on Golfbidder’s web platform and then dispatching the clubs.
The reconditioning will be carried out in collaboration with Golfbidder’s team in London, with Idea’s location in Calais in Northwestern France ensuring quick connections between the two teams. (mk)
