Tecplata expands capacity
Tecplata, a container terminal near Buenos Aires, has successfully dredged its marine channels to 10 m, setting a standard for the city’s terminals. Tecplata’s next aim is to deepen its access channel to 14 m, further enhancing its competitiveness.
Tecplata is strategically located on a 40 ha property, equipped with advanced port technology and security systems. The expansion will support increased foreign trade and solidify Tecplata’s role as a key player in Argentina’s global supply chain, the company said. With a current capacity of over one million teu, Tecplata is well-positioned to accommodate future trade growth. (pb)
