Tecplata: Argentina’s first carbon neutral port
Tecplata, a subsidiary of ICTSI in Argentina, has become the first port in the country to achieve carbon neutral certification. This milestone reflects Tecplata's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, promote renewable energy, and align with ICTSI's broader sustainability goals.
The certification process involved offsetting unavoidable emissions through certified carbon credits, specifically linked to the Manantiales Behr Wind Farm project. Tecplata is now ICTSI's fifth terminal to achieve carbon neutrality, supporting the group’s global decarbonisation strategy. (pb)
