Technology promotes sustainable deployment
Railway company Jaeger Bernburg in Germany is using technology developed by Swiss start-up Nexxiot to digitalise its fleet and make the deployment of its rolling stock more cost-effective and sustainable.
The cooperation focuses on equipping the rolling assets with IoT technology to ensure an effective monitoring of mileage performance with the help of data transmission in real time.
The Jaeger Bernburg group, which is primarily active in the railway construction industry, manages a large variety of vehicles, standard, auxiliary and two-way vehicles in particular. The entire fleet has now been fully equipped with Nexxiot Globehoppers. (ben)
