Takeover in Hungary and Romania
Innight Hungary, which is based in Hungary and Romania, will operate under the Night Star Express banner in the future. The driving force behind the takeover is Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, a shareholder of Night Star Express. The acquisition now allows Hellmann to deliver shipments to Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czechia and Croatia via its own Night Star Express network without external partners.
Since it was founded in Törökbálint, 15 km west of Budapest, 18 years ago, Innight Hungary has developed into an overnight express specialist, primarily for deliveries to the automotive and agricultural industries.
For eight years now, the company has also run a successful business in the Romanian market, ably represented by its subsidiary Innight Romania Express in Ciorogârla.
The two shareholders Tamas Aradi and Zoltán Csombok will continue to act as managing directors, and all 80 employees will be taken on. (sh)
