Synergies in Copenhagen
Spliethoff and Biglift, both members of the Spliethoff Group, a shipping company headquartered in Amsterdam, continue to pool their strengths and integrate their representative offices worldwide.
Joining the combined forces in the USA, the UK, China and Japan, a new office will open in the greater Copenhagen area this month.
The Denmark representative office will be managed by Nicolai Stoltz Nielsen, who is returning to his native country after an extended period working overseas. He is very experienced and well-known in the market, and he has been part of the Spliethoff and Biglift family for the past ten years, working at the Spliethoff-Biglift Houston office.
With the new branch in Denmark, major players in the oil & gas, offshore and onshore wind, and freight forwarding sectors will have a wide range of Spliethoff and Biglift vessels available in “their own backyard” for their future transport requirements. (cj)
