Switzerland issues safety certificate
The Swiss federal office of transport has renewed the safety certification for TX Logistik (TXL) in Switzerland. Before that, TXL had seen its certifications extended for Austria and Italy as well.
All certifications are valid for the next five years until 2025. They confirm that the company complies with all applicable requirements for safe railway operation in Europe as covered by its safety management system.
The three safety certifications underline the importance of the Italian market and the two corridors for the rail logistics provider. The Swiss certification is also a principal requirement for future transport services along the Swiss corridor, TXL said.
