Switzerland: guidelines for seven aerodromes
At its meeting on 30 August, the Federal Council approved the amendments to the structural plans for the aerodromes of Saanen (Icao: LSGK), St. Stephan (LSTS), Zweisimmen (LSTZ) and San Vittore (LSXV) as well as new structural plans for the aerodromes of Pfaffnau (LSXP), Bad Ragaz (LSZE) and Leysin (LSXY).
In these documents, the Confederation lays down general requirements for the infrastructure and operation of the aerodromes.
LSGK, LSTS and LSTZ are to function as an airfield system with a division of tasks. For LSTS, for example, the Confederation created the legal prerequisites for the conversion of a military airfield into a civil airfield. For LSGK, it lifted the proportional restriction on helicopter traffic. The LSTZ plan now also contains helicopter freight transport flights under the special purpose regulations. (ah)
