Swissterminal: more services, stable prices
The terminal and CT specialist aims to expand its hinterland links to the European seaports in 2025. The “Schweizerzug” train will continue to provide direct services to the K1700 and K1742 terminals in Antwerp three times a week.
Starting next year, all terminals on the right bank of the Scheldt will be linked by truck. The costs for these services will be fully included in the railfreight charges. In Rotterdam, the “Schweizerzug” will offer direct connections to the RWG, ECT Delta, and, starting in February 2025, APM2 terminals three times a week.
For terminals that are not connected to the rail service, truck transfers will still be fully included in the price without extra charges. Finally, the barge service will continue to operate two weekly departures to Rotterdam and Antwerp. Prices will remain unchanged. (ben)
