Swiss serves Slovenia
Swiss Worldcargo has begun cargo operations to Ljubljana as of yesterday, 3 February 2020. The airfreight division of Swiss International Air Lines which operates daily A220 (photo) and E190 flights between Zurich and Slovenia's capital, will offer a weekly capacity of 3.5 to 10 t.
As of today, general cargo shipments will be available to and from the destination, while mail will be accepted as of 2 March, special cargo in the coming weeks, and RFS for larger shipments in the next months.
Vienna-based Cargo Austria will act as GSA, ground handling provider will be A/P LJU (Fraport Slovenija).
Jochen Leibfritz, head of cargo north and east Europe: "The destination will connect Zurich and our entire network with an important Central European market which is home to a growing pharmaceutical sector." (ah)
