Svitzer welcomes new regional COO
Yesterday, 2 May 2021, Tina Benjamin-Lea became COO of Svitzer’s AMEA region, reporting to Svitzer AMEA’s managing director Nicolai Vinther Friis. Benjamin-Lea brings with her 30 years of experience in the logistics industry, focusing on cargo operations, chartering, ISPS and terminal operations.
She joins Svitzer from her position as logistics director with Amalaa in Saudi Arabia, where she spearheaded construction logistics as a member of the delivery senior leadership team. Before Amalaa, Benjamin-Lea held various global roles within logistics and operations in companies like SNC Lavalin, Shell and TransOceanic. (amh)
