Sven Wellbrock to leave VTG
After more than 20 years of successful work for VTG, Sven Wellbrock (chief operating officer Europe & chief safety officer) has decided to leave the company on 31 December 2023 to pursue new professional challenges. It is with great regret that he is leaving the company, but on the best of terms.
Most recently, Wellbrock headed the operational business of wagon hire, rail logistics and tank container rental in Europe. On an interim basis, VTG’s chief executive officer (CEO), Alberto Nobis, will assume the functions as chief commercial officer (CCO) and chief safety officer (CSO) from 1 January 2024.
VTG’s advisory board thanks Wellbrock for his many years of very successful work and wishes him all the best for his professional and personal future. (cj)
