Sustainable air cargo community
The Basel-Mulhouse section of IG Air Cargo Switzerland held its second forum at Basel-Mulhouse Airport yesterday, 25 October 2022.
At this first large event since the beginning of the pandemic, almost 50 visitors were able to debate current developments in the air cargo industry in the border triangle of Switzerland/France/Germany and try to put them into an overall context.
Monica Guarnaccia Linder (photo), who took over as the airport’s new marketing director in February 2022, described how the airport weathered the last crises thanks to good preparation.
In their presentations, Andreas Behnke from Swissport, Fabian Felix from Felix Transport, best-selling author Fouad M. Alame and Gerry Zurmühle, who was appointed president of the "Voice of Swiss Air Cargo" last year, spoke about sustainability in the air cargo industry. (ah)
