Supply chain resilience in Saudi Arabia
Thailand-based SCG International has opened its first office in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The supply chain solutions provider is entering the Saudi Arabian market to focus on its ‘global connector role’. Its network now covers over 50 countries.
At the Thailand Mega Fair 2023 in Riyadh, the company hosted a discussion panel on supply chain resilience, highlighting the importance of economic growth. The event was attended by major Saudi Arabian players.
SCG aims to capitalise on Saudi Arabia’s promising economic outlook and its ‘Saudi Vision 2030’ project. The country is currently the 17th largest global economy. Saudia Arabia will be shifting its focus to the infrastructure and construction sector, which SCG is aiming to enter. (mk)
