Supermarket gets first of 151 ordered e-trucks

Iveco has delivered the first eDaily two battery truck to retailer Tesco for its home delivery fleet. A further 150 vehicles will join the retailer’s expanding EV fleet towards the end of 2024.

This first eDaily (42S14E) enables zero-carbon deliveries via its modular battery setup. Its electric motor ensures a strong performance with 140 kW and 400 Nm of torque deployable. Capable of rapid charging at 80 kW, the truck may reach a range of up to 100 km in just 30 minutes, while a 22 kW onboard charger enables Tesco to maximise charging from AC chargers at local stores.
