Sule follows Miram in Mumbai
Sameeha Pradeep Sule (on the right) has headed the port of Hamburg’s representative office in India since 1 October, as the successor to Léa Miram (on the left).
Sule is already experienced in Indo-German exchange projects. During the past three years she’s been a part of several intercultural projects of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, and began supporting the Hamburg Representation Mumbai (HRM) in 2020.
The economist started managing the HRM, which also represents the Port of Hamburg Marketing entity, in October. Predecessor Miram is leaving India and returning to Germany after four years.
Since 2011, the HRM has bridged business between the Indian market and the port of Hamburg. India is one of the port’s most important trading partners, with several weekly container, general cargo, heavylift and ro-ro services connecting the German gateway with India. (cj)
