Sudden reshuffle at Bombardier Transportation
Danny Di Perna has been appointed president of Bombardier Transportation with immediate effect. He replaces Laurent Troger, who stepped down from the position he held for 15 years at his own request.
Di Perna joined the company in 2018, and most recently led the Bombardier aerostructures & engineering services segment. He reports to Alain Bellemare, Bombardier president and CEO.
Paul Sislian has been selected to shoulder Di Perna’s former role. Nancy Barber has been chosen to serve as the new chief operating officer of business aircraft, and joins David Coleal’s leadership team.
Headquartered in Montreal (Canada), Bombardier has production and development sites for its transportation, business aircraft, commercial aircraft and aerostructures and engineering services divisions in 28 countries. The corporation generated a turnover of USD 16.2 billion in fiscal year ending 31 December 2017. (cd)
