Strong Q1 for K+N
Kuehne+Nagel has reported solid growth in Q1 2025, with net turnover rising 15% year-on-year to CHF 6.3 billion. EBIT grew by 7% to CHF 402 million, and earnings rose 9% to CHF 303 million. Sea Logistics was the strongest performer, with turnover up 30% and volume reaching 1 million TEU. Air Logistics also grew, increasing turnover by 13% and EBIT by 23%, driven by the semiconductor and healthcare sectors.
The acquisition of IMC Logistics in the US contributed positively from the start of the year, as Kühne+Nagel has reported. Contract Logistics expanded with new fulfilment centres in Turkey and Dubai. Road Logistics remained stable but under pressure due to weak demand in Europe. "It is not expected that the market situation will change anytime soon", stated the company. (js)
