Strong 2021 for Fesco
The Russian transport group Fesco has reported its results for the full year 2021. While coastal shipments (81,000 teu) and international transhipments (284,000 teu) moved sidewards, the group's volumes in general cargo and oil product transhipment in the commercial Port of Vladivostok amounted to 5.6 million t, a rise of 11% compared to 2020 (4.9 million t).
The transhipments included a record container turnover of 757,000 teu, 11,3% more than in the same period of 2022. In finance, the group saw its revenues soar to RUB 113.7 billion (USD 1.3 billion), an increase of 83% compared to the revenues of RUB 62.1 billion (USD 780 million) in 2020.
The group's ebitda almost quadrupled to RUB 47.4 billion (USD 590 million), while Fesco's net income in 2021 reached RUB 37.8 billion (USD 470 million), compared to RUB 8.3 billion (USD 10 million) in 2020. (sh)
