Stockholm: Bunkering LNG faster than ever
Gasum put its new bunkering station for liquefied gas into operation in mid-June after a year of construction. The new station is located at Port of Nynäshamn, Sweden on the premises of Ports of Stockholm and enables ships to bunker environmentally friendly fuel faster than ever, as two trucks may be used at the same time.
The station set-up and the specialised trucks now being deployed allow bunkering to take place at the same time as unloading or loading operations. The station is located very close to the existing Gasum LNG terminal and Gasum’s LNG trucks efficiently carry the fuel the short distance of 5 km from the terminal to the station. (ben)
