Stepping into South Africa

By establishing its 62nd international office in Durban, Charter Link Logistic has now moved into the South African market. The business will be led by Natasha Kassipersad on account of her industry experience.

The new investment in this area will enable the Hong Kong-based LCL and ocean consolidations provider to strengthen its position within one of the world’s fastest growing trade corridors. With the African Continental Free Trade Agreement coming up, South Africa can benefit from enhanced logistics infrastructure and capacities.

Charter Link is looking to solidify its network in the region out of its base at sub-Saharan Africa’s busiest port. The company will work to build a presence in this market and leverage economic growth spurred on by the African Union’s Agenda 2063. (mk)
