Spitzke Logistik buys ten locomotives
Manufacturer Vossloh will deliver the ordered DE 18 diesel locomotives to the railfreight company in several stages, beginning in H2/2025. Spitzke Logistik is a subsidiary of the German railway infrastructure company Spitzke in Berlin.
The new traction units with centre cabs are designed for both shunting and mainline operations and will be used to supply Spitzke Group's construction projects and provide the subsidiary’s transport services.
The 1,800 kW locomotives meet the latest emission standards and are fuel-efficient thanks to the automatic start-stop system. (ben)
