Spain's largest workwear hub
The Spanish workwear manufacturer Velilla Group has completed 90% of the expansion of its logistics centre. Located in the Romica industrial park, Albacete, the hub will be expanded from 17,000 sqm to 30,000 sqm, which will make it the largest workwear warehouse in the country.
With additions such as new picking stations, which are already operational, and a much larger silk-screen printing machine, expected to be operational in March, the company can significantly increase its productivity and throughput.
The expansion will enable the family-owned business to respond to the rapid growth of sales it is currently experiencing. Sales totalled EUR 100,000 in 2023, EUR 14 million more than in 2022. (mk)
