Sovereign Speed acquires Businesswings
Sovereign Speed, which was founded in 1998 as a neutral and independent express carrier with headquarters in Hamburg (Germany) and has opened offices in seven European countries since then, now has its own airline.
With the 100% takeover of the Kassel-based aviation company Businesswings, the carrier strengthens its position as an express logistics services provider and can now offer its customers all kinds of fast transport, be it direct deliveries, overnight transports via its own express network or air charter.
Businesswings offers a wide range of customised, fast, flexible and secure services. Its aircraft offerings include Dornier 228-212 with a freight capacity from 1.9 to 18 cbm, Dornier 228-100 (1.5-15 cbm), Twin Otter (1.5-14 cbm) and the Cessna Caravan (1-8 cbm) pictured on the photograph. (ah)
