South Carolina Ports going strong
Record volumes keep coming at South Carolina Ports. According to the port authority's statistics, the ports handled 230,000 teu at Wando Welch Terminal, North Charleston Terminal, and Hugh K Leatherman Terminal in February 2022, a rise of 26% compared to February 2021.
Including February, the South Carolina Ports Authority moved over 1.87 million teu so far in its current fiscal year 2022, which runs from July 2021 to June 2022. This is an increase of 16% so far compared to the same period last year. (sh)
