Solid second quarter for Cargojet
The Canadian cargo carrier's total revenue for the second quarter ended June 30 was CAD 230.8 million compared to the CAD 209.7 million in Q2/2023. Revenue from domestic network, acmi and all-in charter was CAD 191.3 million (CAD 171.6 million in Q2/2023).
Co-CEO Jamie Porteous: "We continue to identify and execute on opportunities in the fast-changing global supply chains. Our earlier announcement concerning the launch of a charter service for fast growing China based e-commerce brands is an example of our deep understanding of new and emerging air cargo routes."
During Q2, Cargojet completed the sale of the four remaining B777F and has two B767 P2F conversion in process, one of which will be used to replace one B767 under lease and the other will be used to execute on potential e-commerce charter opportunities. (ah)
