Soget introduces new customs handling software
Logistics software developer and provider Soget is now launching "Customs Tools". For nearly 40 years, Soget has been implementing its solutions in Europe and in six countries on the African continent. It currently serves 24 logistics sites, including ports, airports and border posts.
The new "Customs Tools" are already operational in France, used by French customs, and can be technically interoperated with all one-stop shops in the world.
This new component of the e-gov solution also allows interconnection with a country's customs information systems – such as Ascyuda World – in order to speed up the transmission of customs documents and facilitate pre-clearance, controls customs, veterinary, phytosanitary or specific goods.
Hosted on Microsoft's Azure Cloud, it is equipped with artificial intelligence. Some tasks are automated and can be improved iteratively based on the information gathered. The blockchain ensures traceability and simplifies the exchange of information. APIs are used to connect with other software and allow the exchange of data and functionalities in a simplified way.
