Small passenger aircraft still deliver relief to the Bahamas

Air Charter Service’s Miami office in Florida (USA) recently filled up an empty passenger aircraft, on its way to perform an evacuation flight, with key supplies that it had purchased to help those in need following hurricane Dorian.

Along with several evacuation flights both on private jets and larger aircraft, as well as relief goods charters that the company had arranged, ACS wanted to donate some of their own aid to the Bahamas. Silver Airways is also continuing its relief efforts, carrying needed supplies to Nassau and the island of Eleuthera.

Silver, whose fleet is composed of ATR-600s and Saab 340s, says it operates most of its routes within Florida and between Florida and the Bahamas from its hubs in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa, as well as flights connecting Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
