Skopje rounds off Balkan locations
Cargo-partner is driving forward its expansion in southeast Europe by opening an operative office in Skopje, North Macedonia. The aim is to complement existing hubs in Serbia and Bulgaria, where the company has been present since 2004 and 2003, respectively.
In 2018, cargo-partner inaugurated an e-logistics centre with 22,000 pallet spaces in Sofia and an 8,000 sqm warehouse in Belgrade. Regular truck departures connect these countries with cargo-partner’s distribution network in central and eastern Europe. For sea freight services, the Skopje office speeds up access to Thessaloniki in Greece.
Stefan Krauter, CEO of cargo-partner: “Given the increasing demand for our services in this region, setting up an office in Skopje was the next logical step in our company’s growth strategy." (sh)
