Singapore’s SeaLead expanding into Spain
SeaLead has strengthened its European footprint by opening a new office in Barcelona (Spain). The move supports its strategy to boost connectivity in Europe and the Mediterranean.
Albert Oñate (on the right), with over 40 years in the shipping industry, has been appointed managing director for Spain. “Our new presence here is a milestone connecting Europe to key global markets. With Albert’s leadership, we’ll deliver even stronger service to our customers,” said Kadir Oruc (on the left), regional managing director Europe and Mediterranean.
The Barcelona office will support the Spain, Turkey, Morocco service and improve links to Asia, the Middle East, North America and Africa. SeaLead is also considering further expansion in Spain.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, SeaLead operates over 50 vessels and continues to expand its network. (ah)
