
Sibuet appointed Acting CEO of Aramex
Aramex announced that Group CEO Othman Al-Jeda has resigned for personal reasons, effective 24 April 2025. Al-Jeda departs after 31 years at the company, during which he played a key role in Aramex’s growth into a global logistics leader. The Board has appointed Nicolas Sibuet (pictured), Chief Financial Officer since 2022, as Acting Group CEO.
Chairman Captain Mohamed Juma Alshamsi praised Al-Jeda’s leadership and expressed confidence in Sibuet’s ability to guide the company through its next phase. Sibuet brings 30 years of experience across logistics, shipping, oil & gas, and aviation industries. Al-Jeda thanked the Board and employees, highlighting the company’s journey and expressing confidence in Aramex’s future under Sibuet’s leadership. (ah)
