Shuttle to link Kiel-Norwegenkai and Hamburg-Billwerder
The German intermodal provider, Kombiverkehr, is creating a link between the port of Kiel’s Norwegenkai and Hamburg-Billwerder. The company said that Norwegenkai will be once again connected to various domestic terminal locations in the de.NETdirekt+ network and certain international industrial location thanks to gateway traffic via Hamburg.
The first departures from Hamburg to Kiel-Norwegenkai and vice versa start on 11 January 2019. The Kombiverkehr shuttle train will run five times per week and direction. In addition to the Norwegenkai, the service links the port of Kiel’s Schwedenkai and Ostuferhafen. (ben)
