Shuttle links Rostock with Lovosice
Effective immediately, a new direct train for unaccompanied semitrailers has been launched between the German sea port of Rostock and Lovosice, north of the Czech capital Prague. The shuttle takes eleven hours to complete the 510 km long journey.
The service is operated by LkW Walter and runs three times per week and direction. If required, it may be extended to one run per working day in future. The train timetable connects with onward shipment services from Rostock to Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
Apart from Lovosice, LkW Walter also offers six weekly train runs to Brno, another destination in Czechia. (ben)
