Shocking beyond Marseilles
Dominique Lebreton, member of the executive board and audits, projects and marketing director of port community systems provider MGI from Marseilles, as well as a French foreign trade advisor (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur – CCE) was killed in a road accident on Saturday 12 June 2021.
Xavier Lassalle, president of MGI's supervisory board: "It is difficult to accept that Lebreton’s life was snuffed out in a matter of seconds. We are all in shock and this feeling will be felt beyond the community of the Port of Marseille."
Rémi Julien, chairman of the board: "We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss. Thanks to his know-how and his exceptional human qualities, Lebreton built bridges between all the players in port logistics." He was a "central figure in digital logistics" whose legacy must be carried on. (ah)
