Shipbob snags supply chain expert from Amazon
Global omni-fulfilment platform Shipbob has hired Melissa Nick as its first chief supply chain officer. She joins the company with over 20 years of professional experience, spending the last nine+ years at Amazon, most recently as Amazon's VP of North America customer fulfilment, where she led operations, planning, and engineering teams in more than 250 fulfilment centres.
Prior to overseeing North America fulfilment, Nick helped build AMXL, Amazon's global extra-large fulfilment and delivery service, from the ground up. Nick will oversee the end-to-end design and execution of Shipbob's supply chain and logistics infrastructure for both their fulfilment network and customers managing their own fulfilment with Shipbob's WMS.
